Actually, pretty much all modern cars except three. Others tend not to explode as much.

It's a good thing but that wasn't my point.

The Monaro's gas tank had to be moved in order for it to be rebadged as a GTO and sold in the U.S. due to regulations. Perhaps GM designed the new Zeta platform (underpins the new Commodore) so they could be easily imported to the U.S.? GM thought ahead for once.

Maybe I'm getting myself confused. First a U.S. Zeta was on, then it wasn't, then it wasn't a pressing concern...exactly where does it stand now?

I don't have any first hand knowledge, but I have read speculation that one division - maybe Pontiac - may import a version of the Australian Zeta and sell it here. This could be the Pontiac G8.

The speculation is that a separate North American built Zeta - actually a cheap version of Sigma - will be used for a new Camaro and Chevrolet sedan.

I just saw the newest (that I know of) issue of Wheels Magazine. It is not the issue they show on their web page. Anyway, it has an article about the VE and shows it "uncovered" (it could be a chop, but I haven't been able to read the article yet. It looks right though). It looks sweet, I want one :) . I will post up some stuff when I get off of work :) , or somebody else can if they have it.

Yep the Motor magazine in first pic has the VE spot on under all the checker flag style paintwork though :P we have a new add in australia offering holden employee discounts to everyone (alot like you americans) and they have a couple seconds showing the all new VE commodore.. the exact same as in that motor magazine :P i have only seen the bumperbars and headlights working at holdens.. but its gonna be a smooth ride :P
