October 16, 200520 yr Quoting November's MOTOR magazine cover, "World first look at Holden's all-new VE!" :
October 26, 200520 yr Is that the zeta? Can't see much behind the zebra camo. Could you scan in a larger pic.
October 28, 200520 yr Author you can find scans in this thread: http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=45980
October 28, 200520 yr Something interesting was said in those scans: Fuel filler: Still mounted in the traditional place, but it leads to a tank that has jumped ahead of the rear axle. Didn't the gas tank have to be moved in order for the Holden Monaro to come to our shores as the GTO? Edited October 28, 200520 yr by sciguy_0504

October 28, 200520 yr Well, most MODERN cars. [post="35645"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Actually, pretty much all modern cars except three. Others tend not to explode as much.

The Monaro's gas tank had to be moved in order for it to be rebadged as a GTO and sold in the U.S. due to regulations. Perhaps GM designed the new Zeta platform (underpins the new Commodore) so they could be easily imported to the U.S.? GM thought ahead for once. Maybe I'm getting myself confused. First a U.S. Zeta was on, then it wasn't, then it wasn't a pressing concern...exactly where does it stand now?

[post="35852"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] I don't have any first hand knowledge, but I have read speculation that one division - maybe Pontiac - may import a version of the Australian Zeta and sell it here. This could be the Pontiac G8. The speculation is that a separate North American built Zeta - actually a cheap version of Sigma - will be used for a new Camaro and Chevrolet sedan.
October 28, 200520 yr I just saw the newest (that I know of) issue of Wheels Magazine. It is not the issue they show on their web page. Anyway, it has an article about the VE and shows it "uncovered" (it could be a chop, but I haven't been able to read the article yet. It looks right though). It looks sweet, I want one :) . I will post up some stuff when I get off of work :) , or somebody else can if they have it. David *EDIT* Just found this pic of the cover. Edited October 28, 200520 yr by Diognes56
