Nearly 600,000 miles on Civic hybrid

Now that's how you get your money out of a hybrid!

Battery pack replaced once. I wonder at what mileage. Still probably more than most people would give a hybrid credit for.

Any Priuiii reach that?

highway miles are really easy on a car, not that that many miles isn't something to brag on. :) I'm assuming highway miles, since the car hasn't been out but, what, 3 years? 200k miles a year? Gotta be a lot of highway miles...

If it's all highway miles, the battery pack doesn't get used very often at all in a Civic because the gasoline engine still does most of the work. It's when your accelerating that the car dips into battery reserve.

I do like the Civic hybrid a lot though. I drive one regularly via Flexcar. The hybrid aspect really helps the low end torque on what is otherwise a torqueless car.

600,000 miles is still impressive regardless of hybrid or not.
