Rumored to be called the Equator, the new Suzuki truck seems to be headed for a debut at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show in February. In Suzuki’s short press release yesterday, the company outlined the plans for Nissan to build its new pickup at the Nissan manufacturing facility in Smyrna, Tennessee, as well as plans for further collaborations between the two companies in the future. As part of the current agreement, Suzuki will supply Nissan with Alto minicars in Japan. From Winding Road. Edited December 14, 200718 yr by YellowJacket894
January 11, 200818 yr So eventually it'll just be one truck used over and over between the Ram, Titan, and Equator? Or is Nissan getting money from Suzuki for lending them the truck they know is $h! and then using that money to coordinate a much better truck exclusively for Ram and Titan?
January 11, 200818 yr No, this is just for the Frontier. A potential Ram/Titan is completely separate. If anything the Dakota will be replaced by the Frontier (unlikely).
