Looks like rain here in Alabama, maybe even some rumbles of thunder mixed in tomorrow.

I'd much rather have rain than that much snow.... :(

I'm moving to Death Valley... Anyone coming with? :P

Typical Noreaster for Long Island:

Snow. Then rain. Then snow. Then sleet. Then it all freezes. All with very high winds. (I actually love this type of weather--love snow, love storms)

I predict a 2-hour delayed start on school Monday. :AH-HA_wink:

5-6 inches is in the forecast. Wouldn't it be great if the university somehow decided that it was too dangerous to have kids out in this and cancel finals tomorrow and therefore I wouldn't have to take my Calc3 exam? Yeah, not gonna happen :(

Well we just got about 9 inches, now we're gearing up for 4-8 inches plus ice.

A foot is nothing. LOL.

I want to experience a Nor'easter.

We are expecting 80* partly coudy skies tomorrow and may be some rain. Is that bad?

Bad, yupper. Very bad. I'll be there in about 14 hours.

I'm in.

A winter storm advisory comes into effect for the Baltimore-DC area at 3 this afternoon. Freezing rain and high winds tonight and tomorrow. Ice is more likely than snow.

*rolls eyes*

Friday night ... forecast was for 1-2 inches of snow BY SATURDAY NIGHT.

Instead ... I wake up Saturday morning about 9:30a ... to 2 inches of snow ALREADY on the ground ... and the forecast now at 5-8 inches BY SATURDAY NIGHT/SUNDAY MORNING. Arg.

I guess the storm took a bit of a different path than they originally thought.....

We were lucky. We got about an inch. But we were on the north end of this thing. This is by Appleton Wisconsin

We got next to nothing, barely an inch. The roads were really icy last night, but they're fine this morning.

We're getting about a foot. I can barely seen the highrises across the street. Ha, ha. I wonder if Toronto will have to call the military in again to clear the streets.

What a load of crap. I swear... I should be a meteorologist.

We had like a half inch of sleet, then some light rain.

What happened to 1-2" of rain and 25-35mph winds gusting up to 50?

Started out as freezing rain, went over to sleet, which then mixed with snow...before changing first back to sleet and freezing rain and finally plain rain this morning. 2-4" of snow/sleet, topped with a sloppy layer of slush...which will probably all freeze again later tonight. Messy.

Forecasts called for rain and wind with little accumulation.

I'm coming over to your house!

8 inches and counting. Its letting up but supposed to change!

I hates snow! (yosemity sam grumbles.)

Now I'm getting a bit of snow with very high winds.... enough that they shake the house from time to time.

I live in a stone, 2 story house, on the very top of a ridge with the back of the house facing due west and no tree cover.

The fire is going, 70 degrees in the house without using the furnace.... screw you Dominion Peoples! :P

Started with an inch of snow, turned to sleet, got another 2 inches of slow, turned to sleet, turned to rain, alternated for a few hours and then a few more inches of snow and its still coming down. Not as bad as everyone around here thought it would be.

A little mixed freezing stuff early last night turned to rain. Heavy rain overnight, drizzle most of the day, a moment of sun, and now heavy wind that I can hear taking my crappy little house apart. <_<

Well, it appears we are done with the snow for now.

To take its place? Freekin' cold temps. Arg.

Currently at about half a foot.

This weekend's storm dumped 10 inches of snow, followed by ice and then a light coating of snow on top of the last storm which dumped 7 inches on the existing 3 inches.
