December 20, 200718 yr Author It's not too bad looking actually, except the odd way the headlight creases on the fenders.
December 20, 200718 yr Author I thought it was a rebadged last-gen Accord in the first picture. Me too XD
December 20, 200718 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbWDmoSkiy4 Korean Commercial, to see it in action. I don't like small cars but....
December 20, 200718 yr The i30, a euro-only hatchback. Wow - that's giving off a strong Mazda3 vibe to me: -RBB
December 20, 200718 yr The i30 is the Hyundai version of the Kia Ceed, from what I've read in the British mags.
December 20, 200718 yr Chances are, well, I think, they(Hyundai) will use that very same car, modify it a little bit on the back end and use it as the upcomming Elantra Touring. http://69.89.21.67/~pittsbu4/cheersandgear...showtopic=21448 The link of the thread I made about a week ago that got buried. Well, if you want to go to the link directly, it's: http://jalopnik.com/cars/spy-photos/pre+pr...-guy-321233.php The spy video that has the camo on. and this is the Kia version, the Ceed. December 21, 200718 yr Author the plate on the front says i30... you couldn't just google "hyundai i30"? Excuse me for not realizing it was a name...you know, how most non luxury cars have real names.
December 21, 200718 yr Ugly? Is that the right answer? Considering it's a mix of Opel Astra and Mazda3 (besides the rear) I'd say you'd have to be crazy to think so. Unoriginal, yes. Ugly, no. Edited December 21, 200718 yr by blackviper8891
December 21, 200718 yr Considering it's a mix of Opel Astra and Mazda3 (besides the rear) I'd say you'd have to be crazy to think so. Unoriginal, yes. Ugly, no. Mixing nice bits doesn't necessarily have it stay nice. The Chinese have tried that and failed miserably. I have to say I rather have the Kia version than this one.
December 21, 200718 yr Mixing nice bits doesn't necessarily have it stay nice. The Chinese have tried that and failed miserably. I have to say I rather have the Kia version than this one. Doesn't guarantee ugliness, either. It's not an unattractive vehicle by any means, and the styling cues mix nicely.
December 21, 200718 yr The rumor has it that Hyundai and Kia originally planned them for US as well, but later scrap the idea thinking about the price conflict. I think I saw on one of the magazine that actually tested the Kia version that said that it would cost way more to sell that here. I don't know how that will going to be that way since these are just another small cars that will never sell anyway in US, but....
