"We are no longer citizens of the United States of America and all those who live in the five-state area that encompasses our country are free to join us,''

I found this to be interesting, i cant wait to see what the government does.

Hopefully nothing to found of the lakotas - im living on land that violates the Fort Laramie Treaty of 1868 with the Lakota Nation. (Sioux Nation)

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiii think I'll be steering clear of any shopping malls out Camino's way for a little while....

No worries there, I hate going to malls so much that I'd never pick one as a target. :AH-HA_wink:

I found this map online:

I know there are several people over here that want the state to either divide, secede, or what not... I came across the link below years ago. It's a joke/hoax, but I'm sure several states have similar radical/activists who wish the same...

Maybe California would follow Oregon & Washington and be next to secede?

So much for manifest destiny... :P

hey, if California wants to cede from the Union, I'll help them pack. The last good thing to come out of California was the gold in 1849.

It would be a net improvement.

Texas first.

NO $h!! Being a native Texan, I've definitely heard about their own radical/activist movement:

As an interesting side note... my AM listening friends recently told me all the Libertarians in Texas were relocating to Wyoming to transform it into the first Libertarian state... They have other agendas... yeah right... like New Hampshire

Oh well... The country west of the Mississippi is falling apart, but seems mysteriously well put together :AH-HA_wink:

It wouldn't take much to push me over that edge.

You KNOW I'd have your back...

And yes, I too am only one step away from "building a cabin in Montana." :AH-HA_wink:

Count me in!

Texas is 'on the border' with me (YAY! PUNS!) I like some of their ideology, but not all of it. It's where Cali was 10-15 years ago; except it seems to be the other extreme

I'm only half joking about the NH thing.

And I'm not joking about being on the edge.

I don't believe in the idea of blowing stuff up to make the point, but telling the feds that you wont play in their sandbox anymore has real appeal.

Hmmm....I bet some of the leaders of this effort will end up in Guantanamo soon.

Heh-heh, but seriously, if California would get serious about seccession, I'd move there in a heartbeat.... get away from the red state loonies.

It wouldn't take much to push me over that edge.

If you were an independent nation you could import a UTE tax free!

You gotta issue a Bob Lutz stamp and use the Olds symbol on the flag.

You can have my Oldsmobile when you pry it from my cold dead hands. In Drewsylvania, the 2nd amendment says:

The right of the people to keep and drive Oldsmobiles, shall not be infringed.
Because, like California, Texas exports its politics.

Bush wasn't even born here. Senior or Junior.

True, but Texans elected W governor..so they deserve a lot of blame.. :)

I'll actually admit Bush was a good governor, but a lousy president.

Oklahoma won't bomb Texas or send terrorists (OU weekend excluded... hehe) if you piss them off in the process of doing what's best for Texas. Another country will bomb the US if you threaten them.

So if California became another country... :scratchchin:
