January 7, 200818 yr Haven't heard anything lately, and I'm beginning to wonder if they will make an appearance during the show season at all. Fingers crossed.
January 7, 200818 yr There are some right purty Photoshops of the G8 ST and G8 SW in this months Motor Trend magazine. They said both the ST and SW will be on sale in Fall of 08. Not much longer Camino.
January 7, 200818 yr Doesn't Pontiac usually announce new models at the Chicago show? Maybe we'll see the ST in Feb.
January 7, 200818 yr Author i want an ST GXP with all three pedals My recipe exactly! I want to hear confirmation from GM before I celebrate. M/T just doesn't inspire confidence.
January 7, 200818 yr yeah they seem to be an unrelaible source... when a debut occurs at a show, thats when ill start saving my pennies
January 8, 200818 yr I don't believe you either. :AH-HA_wink: Your lips say no, but your post say, YES YES YES! :AH-HA_wink:
January 8, 200818 yr Never believe anything you hear on the net until GM or Lutz confirms it. Which means that all the going around this board and others could be just that: BS I would like to have some concrete answers as well... As far as I know, nothing major has happened to any of the Zeta vehicles except GMX-551, which in and of itself could be a MARKET decision (*GASP!* It's future was NEVER locked in and the Impala was NEVER set as RWD for sure) and not even CAFE related. Just like I'm sure the North* will be replaced with a better V8 and not V6's. I'm sure we'll get all the answers we need beginning here in about a week or so. January 8, 200818 yr I'm rooting for the G8 wagon to get here (and for the ST for you Camino!). If I can't get the Sierra I really want in 2009/2010, then I want to get something else that I love almost as much - and a Pontiac station wagon could possibly fit that bill. Hopefully we'll hear something soon about these two G8 variants.
January 8, 200818 yr Author That wagon is really nice, and if I won the lottery, I'd buy it as well as the Ute.
January 9, 200818 yr These were my two stabs this past fall at a G8 Wagon what I think they should call a G8 Safari like they did back in there hey-day.
January 9, 200818 yr Author Small tidbit on the Ute: The battery is cab-mounted behind/below the driver's seat. Well, our driver's seat that is. I assume they would flip it to the other side for us if it stays in the cab.

I assume they would flip it to the other side for us if it stays in the cab. I'm sure they would mirror-image everything inside of the ST/Ute. It's not a big deal, anyway. I'm pretty certain the battery of the last-generation Bonneville was under it's rear seat. Edited January 10, 200818 yr by YellowJacket894

January 10, 200818 yr Author That certainly wouldn't be too pleasant. I do like the idea of having it on the passenger's side though.
