This morning at about 8am I was on I29 heading south between the Canadian border and Grand Forks heading back to Fargo. Just north of Grand Forks I noticed a Charger, a 300, and too matching Aspens heading toward Canada. I thought it just could have been a coincidence but not a half mile later I saw two matching camo'd SUVs tagged by a 4 door Wrangler. Both these vehicles were a little smaller than a Durango it seemed...I'm guessing they were Journeys, but I don't know. They were under light camo, just the front fascia and the back hatch seemed to be covered.

About a mile later I saw a Caravan, followed by what was unmistakably a Challenger under complete camo followed by a Charger and a 300.

Now here is the confusing part. About 5 miles later, just as I was getting into Grand Forks and I spot 2 matching Caravans and behind that 2 matching camo'd full size sedans. They whole front and back along with the bottom part of the doors were camo'd. The greenhouse was not, so that is what I have to go off of, but the greenhouse on both looked strikingly like a Maxima, and they were probably both the size of a Maxima as well. What the heck could these vehicles be? There aren't many testing vehicles up in this neck of the woods, so they most have been with the Chrysler crew. Maybe Chris has an idea.

Maybe, but they seemed bigger than that. If so, they got rid of that stupid little black plastic triangle that is supposed to make it look like the glass continues behind the rear glass. I'm guessing this was cold weather testing, but would they have to do that just for refreshing the Sebring?

If it's a totally different grill maybe...... but considering Chrysler usually designs it's grills with enough intake to drop a Cat5 hurricane down to a tropical storm, I doubt it'd be a problem.

Pity you didn't grab pics to put it to the sleuths here at C&G to figure it out.

Possibly, they didn't look Sebring sized, so that might be something. I would have loved to grab some pics, but I was headed the opposite way going 80mph, so it would have been tough....I thought about turning around and following, but I needed to get back home.

That would have been interesting to have gotten pictures of. Since no one tests around here, there is also no point to keep a camera with me. I would have love to of seen pictures.
