Quite possibly the coolest hot rod in human history!

I need to build my duramax-diesel '61 Cadillac CDV, I can't beleive this has been

done so many times already, there's even a twin-turbo-diesel Vette out there!

Get yourself something like this GMC COE: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GMC-GMC-COE...tem250204860624

That way you can not only have plenty of room to do your diesel swap (Let's face it, diesels are huge engines and need huge radiators), you could make some money hauling cars on the side. Imagine pulling up to a Chrysler dealership with a 1950's Imperial on the back and saying "Finally found you guys! You wouldn't believe how much time I spent looking for this place! You guys want to order up a Q78-15 and fix the flat tire on this thing?"

Sixty8, that is one badass Rod. Love it.

Wildman, that is a cool, Twilight Zone idear, sir. Do everything in period dress... the GMC with 50's handpainted lettering, your outfit, the Imperial, impeccably restored, and it should be a foggy morning as you appear out of the mist...

I'd love a pre-war COE, esp. a '37 Chevy... try finding one though!

You know....it would be cool to see something like a '73-'87 running around with...I dunno, either a Duramax, or a Cat diesel in it....

I'd LOVE to do up an '87 sport-side with side pipes & a cat motor!!!

Dodge "little red truck" eat your heart out!
