ok.. im narrowing it down more:

G8 ST GXP V8 M6 (thats a mouthful of letters!) in either black, Ignition, or that blue!

No white? It may scream "work truck" on a vehicle like this, but I like my Pontiac's in white (not that any of my Pontiac's were ever that color though). I think it has to do with the white-painted rims that Pontiac had as an option on certain cars in the late '80s and throughout the '90s (like the Bonneville SSE/SSEi, Grand Prix and TranSport models). My next choice for Pontiacs is bright red. I can forsee a white or red G8 Sportswagon in my garage, even if GM won't make that dream a reality for me.

Burgundy = Passion

goldish = Sandstorm

Dark Blue = Vespers

Light blue = Provence

I wished they had Pink. Not that I would have picked it. But BV would have welcomed it

Well, if you want something more wild, it should be between orange and green. If you want something more common, red or black. Not as hard now, is it?

Normally, black is my default choice for a car like this. But, I'm not a fan of metallic black,so...

Since the G8 color selection isn't anywhere near as wide as that of Commodore, we don't yet know what the choices will really be. I suspect that there will be some colors exclusive to the GXP package.
