February 2, 200818 yr Check out the pictures someone ignored the embargo on of the new GMC Zeta. I will not post the pictures here but you cvan see them at Aublog.com Boys I think we are looking at the future and it looks great. We have a Zeta with truck like shoulders. GMC added a hybrid system to this and made a vehicle that would make a joke out of the Toyota and Honda entries in this small unibody truck market. The XT has a V8 and should have many of the abilities of the old 1/2 ton truck but in a more Crossover/Car like platform. I can see this as a way to combate the loss of truck sales and move people to a more higher mileage platform. Now if they could also do this in a long bed with a extended cab.
February 3, 200818 yr Oh dear, apparently someone at pickuptruck.com got overly excited and couldn't hold back any longer. What their girlfriends must think of that …
February 3, 200818 yr See other cheers&gears thread about this: http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...c=22414&hl=
February 4, 200818 yr This is definitely one GMC I can see parked in my driveway/garage (with of course a little revamp to the showtruck/concept flair for a more production-like vehicle). GM, are you listening? My AURA lease expires in November of 2009 (21 months); I'd really like to get one of these around that time please! Don't disappoint me... :AH-HA_wink:

February 4, 200818 yr http://www.gmc.com/helpcenter/email.jsp Select: "*I would like to make a product suggestion." Thank you for the link . I have printed out the submission letter, completed all required areas, and will drop it off in the mail on my way home from work tonight. Hopefully GMC/GM will take this effort, even as minimal as it is, as a serious request on my behalf.
February 4, 200818 yr Awww man how puketastic... When I saw that picture on the front page I didn't click because I honestly thought it was some untalented C+G member's horrible frankenstein chop. Ugh. Just when you think GM's design department has pulled its head out of its ass, they come out with this monstrosity. I honestly like the Ridgeline better, which is a bit like saying that I like Rosie O'Donnell better than another woman. Seriously.
February 4, 200818 yr To each their own... I will admit I'm not 100% behind the design styling, but I get the styling direction GMC wants to go in. And for that reason I like the uniqueness of this trucklet. I really, really want a Sierra. Do I really, really need one? Nope. So here's a compromise for me that isn't making me end up with something I wouldn't want. Remember, this isn't the production version they're showing - of course it's likely to change if greenlighted. I see the "truck" in it's design; not many here do. I guess that's why I like it versus others. :AH-HA_wink:

February 5, 200818 yr Much better than I thought it would be. When I heard that they were considering a GMC version of the Holden Ute, I was afraid, but this doesn't look like a car with a bed. Personally, I'd rather see this come to the States than the G8 ST.

February 7, 200818 yr I like this concept-the windshield's a little vertical and its pretty round for a GMC, but not bad, despite it being a car (then again so is Acadia). But the grille is bold, and bold is good, usually.
