This time, in the form of a 50 year old woman driving a Volvo. Luckily, it wasn't too serious.

I was making a right turn out of a Rite Aid parking lot onto a main road. The Volvo was in front of me attempting to do the same. She pulled out and saw a car coming, changed her mind, and shifted into reverse. She had no idea I was behind her, and slammed into me.

The damage isn't too bad. The driver's side of my front bumper took the hit. The lower lip is disconnected from the bumper, there are a few long horizontal cracks in the bumper itself, and it'll all need to be repainted. If she were driving an SUV it would have been much worse, as my hood likely would've taken the hit as well.

She was extremely apologetic and admitted fault, so off to the body shop I go.

#2 for me. Thankfully my car wasn't totalled this time around.

At least this shows that some people (proabably most people) are still honest. She could have just claimed no fault because TECHNICALLY you rear ended her.

+1 For Humanity! Glad to hear you are okay!

That sucks...

I agree with jc too....

My car finally goes in tomorrow to get fixed...and mine was hit while parked.... :(
