Clockwise or Counterclockwise?

not sure this is a real optical illusion... the gif animation switches frame direction at random intervals....

It is. Notice how the shadow moves from right to left no matter which way you see her spinning.

Counter clockwise, but then again I watched it for all of 3.5 sec.

Why do I only see clockwise then?

try tilting your head and looking at it sort of upside down. you can make yourself see it going in either direction.

Is that a nipple I see?

It's an optical illusion. It will spin one way for a while and if you look at it long enough it will appear to change direction.

I generally see it spin clockwise, but I can make it go the other way if I try, and sometimes it looks like it's going back and forth.
