It seems the forum software has been getting a little FUBAR here lately. First, my account was mysteriously deleted recently. Second, my PM inbox has been acting up and deleting new messages after I respond to them, and there are no copies of the PMs I send in my sent items folder. Third, the site seems to "stall" at times; meaning it doesn't load after a long period of time then re-loads as soon as I hit refresh, although slowly. And now I've been seeing this little oddity ...

Anyone been encountering anything strange on the forums here lately?

This happens from time to time on other IPB forums I'm on too... It's a known bug I believe.

I wondered why half your posts say they're from guest and not a real account.

Yeah, I came to the forums one morning to find out that my username and password weren't exactly registering with the forum database ... what sucks to me is that I will never be member 74 again, being one of the first 100 members to a popular forum has a special distinction to it, but, ah whatever.

Yep. Those posts were under my previous account, which was, of course, deleted. Guess that's what happens to a person's posts when their account is terminated.

It's happened to me on more that one occasion that 1) the page loads, but comes up with a bunch of "code" (html crap), or 2) the page loads blank.

C&G is generally trouble free for me... besides a server error every now and then.

Things are working well here methinks. There are some boards I post on that have SERIOUS issues.

Just got an "IPS Driver" error.

Those errors are the ones that suck the most because they force me to post at GMI.
