For a strictly limited period, Chevrolet is offering a limited edition ‘Edge’ version of the popular Captiva SUV, with over £2,400 worth of extras free of charge. The seven-seater ‘Edge’ model is based on the 2.0 VCDi LT model and is available to order from Chevrolet retailers, priced at £19,995 – a saving of £1,145 against the standard Captiva 2.0 VCDi LT with seven seats. As well as the already impressive list of standard equipment featured in the Captiva LT, which includes air conditioning, front fog lamps, a radio CD Player with MP3 capability, electronic stability control, power-operated door mirrors, electric front and rear windows, descent control and a neat, two-piece glass flip tailgate, the ‘Edge’ edition adds striking Irmscher 20-inch Evo Star alloy wheels and distinctive chrome side bars. What’s more, those who order the Captiva Edge in the model’s distinctive launch colour of Zest Brown, a bold orangey-copper shade, will also get the metallic paint thrown in without cost – a reward for driving one of the most noticeable Captivas on the road! The limited edition adds even more great value for money to the Captiva range and will further strengthen Chevrolet’s growth in the UK market – in January, sales grew by 81% versus January 07, which followed on from overall sales growth of 27.6 % in 2007. February 14, 200818 yr Author I agree. 2.4 dual-VVT and 3.6 engines for the US market, and it would be perfect against the 5/7-seat RAV4. Then I'd optimize the new lwb TE against the Highlander and offer the 2.9 I4 and 3.6.
