That's a good thing they didn't. The Canadian winters here don't treat that feature very well. Its freezes up very easily.

That's happened on my Cavalier too... For cold weather it makes more sense to do it the way they did it IMO.

I find it the exact opposite. My wife's G6 has them on the hood, and when there was snow and ice, the nipples were frozen and useless, while the ones on my Malibu, which are on the wipers, I never had a problem with.

The older Chryslers had them mounted on the wipers and they suck. Mounting them on the hood is much, much better.

Strongly agreed. Mounting them on the wipers has got to be the most foolish decision any automaker could make. It looks better.. and that's it.

I don't even see how it looks much better. It's not like they're giant blobs of black plastic the size of someone's fist or something. I hate the wiper mounted ones...lots of issues with the design.

1. The hoses get brittle and break with age
2. The Plastic fasteners can break off the blade when clearing ice or snow off of the car
3. Ditto for the hoses.
4. They don't dispense the washer fluid as evenly or as well as the hood mounted ones

I had to look out the window at work today to remember where the washer nozzles are on my Jeep...on the cowl, behind the hood. The rear one is at the top of the hatch.

Haven't had issues with either style here in Jersey. From my observations, the wiper-mounted ones disperse the fluid better, and I HATE the look of the plastic nubs on the hood; I prefer the cowl-hidden ones- protected and invisible. I suspect the steady 'laying-down' of windshield angles has made the cowl-area ones too close, making them overshoot the glass, thus the hood mounting. They look like sh!t there, tho.

The ones on the VW are mounted on the underside of the hood, also in the cowl area. The spray seems less powerful than visible hood-mounted ones.

Challenger looks nice, btw. I like the gas filler cap.

Oh yes, the nipple lights, I remember I had those on my 02 Lanos I used to own, I got a ticket, $110 "Improper use of headlights" according to the Highway Traffic act.

oh, hood nozzles >>>> wiper nozzles. Have them on my sunbitch and hate them with a passion

The wiper mounted nozzles on our Lumina froze up durring the recent snowstorm. The passenger side squirted into the air.

Anyhow, about the Challenger...

Alot of women were comming up to it and saying how cute it was. It seems to have wide appeal!

Considering I rarely use the windshield washers and that I don't have to worry about freezing temperatures or snow, I would hate to have the nozzles sticking out of the hood.

Anyway... does anyone else think that the lower lip on the front bumper (black plastic piece at the very bottom) isn't going to fare well?

Why the hell are we arguing about squirter nozzles? The car is nice, especially in person, it will a real head turner on the road, it just has THAT presence, if you know what I mean!

Well, this IS a Chrysler product, so we're gonna nitpick and bitch about the most insignificant things.

There car looks awesome, I cannot wait to see one in person.

I know... My car does, but it's a non-aesthetic piece of plastic under the car. I'm afraid that this piece is going to end up like the front lip of the body kit on '96-ish Camaro RS's.
