IMBHO: Merge LaCrosse/LaCrosse Super into NG LaCrosse, ditto to Lucerne and Lucerne Super

Yeah... anyway, the LaCrosse/Allure is getting replaced by the Epsilon II based Regal for '10.

Obviously the Lucerne line needs to be replaced with a new Zeta platform car. Under no circumstances should the next Lucerne be on a super stretched Epsilon II - just kill the car instead.

And that is the big question with near-term GM's product line...what replaces the last W (Impala) and the Gs (Lucerne, DTS) ?

The next gen Lucerne, or whatever replaces it, needs to be better. My in-laws traded in their Park Avenue on a Lucerne, and they regret it. The Lucerne isn't substantially nicer, and even with the 6cyl gets worse milage. What I've seen of it, it's nice, but not nicer. Next gen needs to be as nice or nicer, and with better fuel economy.

Replace LaCrosse/Allure with Regal on ESP II (2010 anyway)

Replace Lucerne with Zeta based model with V6, V6 diesel, V8, V8 diesel.

Add in C-segment Skylark model.

Add smaller crossover based on BRX (Premium Theta????) to slot below Enclave
