2009 is the 50th Anniversary of the El Camino. The National El Camino Owners Assoc. (NECOA) is working closely with the Carlisle events staff to make the 2009 show a success. We need a picture of a '59 El Camino, either stock or modified, to use for flyers, the show catalog, T-shirts, etc. Once we choose the best shot we'll give it to the Carlsile staff to use for these items.

So... if there are any El Camino owners lurking out there please feel free to email me (PM me for the address) your best shots:

High resolution at least 2MP

Simple or plain backgrounds so the car can be out out for use in flyers, etc,

Shine it up, any dirt showing on the car will cause it to be rejected.

3/4 sots preferred, front and back.

There are fans of the El Camino here, but I don't know of anyone that owns a '59 that posts here. However, I'm sure if anyone knows somebody with one, they'll contact you.

Will NECOA have a special display at the All-GM Nationals and/or All-Truck Nationals shows at Carlisle? I definitely make it out for the All-GM show, however the All-Truck show dates have not worked out for me the last two years and this year doesn't look good either. If NECOA is at the All-GM show, I will definitely hunt you down!

Yes we'll be at GM and some of us do go to Truck. Just look for the El Caminos! By the way, if you ever get a chance to go to Truck... GO!
