Behold the Chevy El Camino, err I mean Chevy Lumina!

Just thought I would let you see what an El Camino would have looked like, if a woodchuck could chuck wood! :AH-HA_wink:

i see your self imposed exile was ...... brief.

Nice looking vehicle. Way nicer than any delta or epsilon product could ever hope to be in a million years. Very sad to see such a great product go to waste, but I guess General Motors Europe knows America so well, they know what's good for us even if we don't, and haven't for all of General Motors history up until now. We will get tiny cars, dammit, whether we want them or not!

Good morning to you too princess. :smilewide:

Yo Borger. And don't call me princess, you know I'm right.

I'll take the Elky, the green VRSC, and the blonde, in no particular order.

The blonde would crush you between her thighs like a wallnut. :P

That's not Suzanne Somers, is it?

Yes, unfortunately. I was hoping he was gone for good. I still can't figure out his game..he talks like a GM insider leaking information, but I wonder if he really is a sociopath who gets off by spreading disinformation and messing with our minds..

They won't darken my diveway - ever.

That Camino would be most welcome though.

QFT.

Nice Crunch Camino, I like seeing it, but why does it keep being thrown in the faces of people who want them? That's just being a tease and it's not respectful. Can we please move on?

The blatant and idiotic waste of the Zeta platform is one of the most disgusting

displays of stupidity and GM trying to ONCE AGAIN ram crap down our throat

in a "we know best what YOU want/need" scenario ever... it's in the top-three.

And that's saying a LOT.

The pendulum swings ONCE again in my love/hate relationship /w GM! :(

Well, it comes here as a Pontiac, so whatever. True, the Bowtie is a better fitting badge for a ute, but this "look at what might have been" is just a rubbish attempt at making a few select individuals stark raving mad.

Better luck next time, Borger!

What the American car industry builds best are mid-sized to large rear-drive coupes and sedans* with solid, powerful engines. It's just what the American auto industry was born to build.

*I would have also said the wagon, too. But most Americans don't want a wagon anymore because they would rather avoid anything resembling their grandparents 1981 Country Squire (except if it's jacked up five feet and looks as if it were based on a moving truck). It's not "viable" anymore.

Heh ... I know that see-saw feeling all too well. Die-hard GM fan, but my goodness mercy me.

Course, it didn't help that I went to look at a '90 Caprice 9C1 this past Saturday, after calling right before I left to make sure it was still there ... only to arrive 20 minutes or so later (that's how long it took for me to get from the house to the lot) ... seeing it being driven off the lot by its new owner. The dealer then had the nerve to ask if I wanted an '06 Ch#$r%*et Celebrity/Lumina/monte carlo LT instead.

Right.

Would a dealer selling both new chevys and pontiacs get in trouble if it offered dealer-installed bowties and el camino badges? lol Probably... but it'd be a fun twist. :) I forsee it happening in the aftermarket.
