October 21, 200520 yr Acadia (Lambda Crossover) was shown in Vegas this week. Grill is similar to the Envoy/new Yukon treatment. Very sharp, though the Buick version was more distinctive.
October 21, 200520 yr Author How was the interior? Is it similar to the Graphyte concept interior? [post="31978"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Didn't get to view the Acadia interior. The surprise to me is that it sounds as if all 3 Lambdas will launch next year. Originally it sounded like Saturn in 2006, GMC and Buick following in 2007 (as 08 models).
October 21, 200520 yr I've seen the Acadia in camo leaving the Tech Center to go to another warehouse across the street on 12 mile. The thing instantly cought my eye. Not because of the camo, but because of the distinct GMC grille. I can't wait until 2007. Things are going to explode around GM. Not "implode" but EXPLODE!
October 21, 200520 yr Is the Acadia scheduled to appear in Detroit ? Edited October 21, 200520 yr by CadillacCTS
October 21, 200520 yr I think all of the Lambda crossovers are supposed to be unveiled at the autoshow.

[post="31947"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Was the exterior heavliy patterned after the GMC Graphyte concept? The concept interior of the Graphyte, was stunning, imo. I also loved the exterior.
October 21, 200520 yr Look at that steering wheel... how similar it is to the one in the new Yukon/Tahoe... Hmm...

[post="31947"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] That could be good or bad....when a Buick is considered MORE distinctive than the supposedly "Professional Grade" GMC version, something is definately weird. Then again, based on the looks of the new Yukon and now what has been said of the Acadia, it seems as though GMC's will still be classy, but are slightly losing their once bold edge that a lot of people loved. Hope it ends up positively, but honestly, I'm more anxious about seeing the Buick, since the GMC version of ANYTHING any more just seems like the same thing, trimmed out a little different.

[post="32259"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] I dunno, I think the Cientieme concept was more distinctive than the Graphyte, so the same could hold true for the production versions. Buicks should be more distinctive than GMCs because they're at a higher price point too.
October 21, 200520 yr The Graphyte was still a good looking truck, very handsome and conservative in an Audi fashion. The Buick was a lot more artsy and distinctive but still very elegant. I think the same will hold true to production.

May 19, 200619 yr if it was shown where's the press release? [post="141375"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] It was shown to a select group. It's public release hasn't occured yet, and if I'm not mistaken, insiders only viewed images of the Acadia, not the actual vehicle.

May 21, 200619 yr The Enclave was only a concept version, the production model may debut at the same time (Nov for sale in early 2007).
