March 3, 200818 yr With that update, I headed over to imdb.com to see why and this is what they had posted in the trivia section: The first teaser trailer and posters for this film showed it's original release date, December 25th, 2008. On February 13th, 2008 Paramount Pictures pushed the film to May 8th, 2009 so it would have less competition and be a summer blockbuster contender. The teaser trailer has now been amended to show Summer 2009. And so it goes.
