March 21, 200817 yr An extra 28bhp over the standard VXR to create a 1.6 litre 225bhp pocket rocket. Awesome technology, catastrophic torque steer. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/fi...sa_vxr_888.html Edited March 21, 200817 yr by aatbloke
March 21, 200817 yr [...] catastrophic torque steer. Oh my! You have read my mind so clearly! It quite frightens me. :AH-HA_wink:
March 21, 200817 yr Would be an interesting little hot hatch here, esp. if Dodge does a Breeze SRT4. True, although the regular "warm" Corsa variants are more driveable. Rumours persist of Saturn versions in the next few years.
March 21, 200817 yr True, although the regular "warm" Corsa variants are more driveable. Rumours persist of Saturn versions in the next few years. By 2014 there will be no differences between what Opel and Saturn have to offer Europe and North America.
March 21, 200817 yr i have no problem with that.... but keep GME within Saturn! You shouldn't fear what you don't understand!
March 21, 200817 yr By 2014 there will be no differences between what Opel and Saturn have to offer Europe and North America. Actually what Lutz said was that Opel and Saturn would be largely indistinguishable by 2014. However, they will not sell each other's entire range of products verbatim.
March 22, 200817 yr You shouldn't fear what you don't understand! LOL. Shouldn't you be fearing what you do not understand? Because if GME does not understand american buyers then your job will be on the line. We enthusiasts have plenty of options.
March 22, 200817 yr LOL. Shouldn't you be fearing what you do not understand? Because if GME does not understand american buyers then your job will be on the line. We enthusiasts have plenty of options. You enthusiasts are few, the general car buyer is many! Do the math! :AH-HA_wink:
March 22, 200817 yr By 2014, Saturn/Opel's line will look mostly like this ... ... and they will be unified by a new, shared logo, maybe this one ... ... or maybe even this one. :AH-HA_wink: Edited March 22, 200817 yr by YellowJacket894
March 22, 200817 yr You enthusiasts are few, the general car buyer is many! Do the math! :AH-HA_wink: Need I remind you of our influence and marketing? Basic cars might sell to americans, as long as they're marketed under the asian brands. Let's face it, asian car buyers make the purchase on name alone most of the time. But GM does not enjoy that kind of goodwill. Just look at their current line up for proof; it caters mostly to enthusiasts because GM knows that it needs more than "the basics" to sell cars. Go ahead and make GM bland, then I'll be sure to track you down in a few years for the face to face "I told you so"
March 22, 200817 yr with the amount of times i defend GM, we enthusiests should be factored in.... RWD V8s! remember that!
