Still, I'm a car whore. Monogamy is soooo very hard.

Currently I am considering a few cars to replace either

the B-59 or the '77 CDV.

Earlier today after XP gave me a heads up on a super

cheap '76 Cadillac S&S Hearse with flame-thowers,

flame paint job and in need of some TLC. I called very

quickly (the car has been on Crainglist before) since

the price had seemingly hit rock bottom. SOLD as of

about 2 hrs. ago. Oh well.

I've had this unsatable appetite for a REAL Pontiac, as

in a classic Pontiac, something RWD, BOF & with one or

more of the following:

- Chrome Beak (metal twin-port grille)

- Indian Head Hood Ornament

- OHC I6 motor or Inline-8 motor

I'll keep you posted, there's one I'm seriously considering.

You can never go wrong with an old Tin Indian.

Speaking of old cars, in a few days I'm going have a couple oldies but goodies to drive, both heavy and smooth, and one a 2dr hardtop. Both built in the last 25 years, but no cupholders, unfortunately...

How about an '80s T1000? It's a RWD Pontiac...saw one recently, first I'd seen in years. Be good on gas also.

The Pontiac I am considering is a very rough but fairly solid car, not

pre-war but DAMN close, 4-door, three on the tree, INLINE-8 flathead.

The B-59 - you could always get collector's insurance for it so that it costs you next to nothing, and put it in a garage or something where you can give the engine the car it needs at your leisure. Only sell it if the hardtop of your dreams becomes available.

Try hunting down a base first gen Firebird. The last time I looked they were much more affordable than their Camaro counterparts, and I believe they used the I6.

Careful, tho; unless you get a '67, that Firebird I-6 is a IBC Chevy mill.

The last time I saw a (first gen.) Firebird that was "affordable" Hell-ary Clint666n was still stealing furniture from the Lincoln Bedroom.
