Aside from some other confusion (I wouldn't think VVT would go away...but maybe so), apparently the revised 6.2L is now also Flex Fuel. I think.

They're not going to offer a 6.5' box with crew cab in a half ton are they? I've been waiting for a 6-speed and maybe the 6.2 and I'd like a crew cab, but I'm not getting the short box.

That Canyon looks so very old and tired. GM can't replace this vehicle fast enough. GMC purpose and is suppose to be "Professional Grade" but this Canyon is no Professional and it's gets a failing Grade!!

Sadly the pickups still appear to get the 4-speed auto standard, with maybe the 6-speed being optional on some models.

The new L9H 6.2 L is just a FlexFuel version of the L92 6.2 L offered previously. It is still VVT, the order guide just doesn't mention it, although the output diagrams do. Other than E85 compatibility, no other changes have been made. It replaces the L92 completely, in every model offered in North America at least, and adds a few new applications as well (Sierra and Silverado).

Well that is very stupid, the whole line needs the 6-speed to bring it out of the dark ages. They are probably going to charge quite a premium I'm sure just to get this option...grrrr.

So if I decifer these specs correctly, the 6.2 is only available in crew cab short box configuration??? WTF? Why not make it available on all configurations for people who actually use their pickups for WORK? Why is it not available in 3/4 ton models? C'mon GM, I was hoping for a crew cab standard box option, now I can't get a 6.2 in an extended cab standard box either.

Does anyone know if the 2009 Bluetooth option for the UVB Nav radio is available for all the 2007/08 UVB Nav radios as well? sounds like its just a harness because the radio looks the same.
