I always knew that Al Gore was a lying, worthless sack of $h!, but a good piece of proof like this for all the sheeple that eat up whatever he says is fantastic!

Has this made any major news?

I mean, I know it's sourced from ABC, but did they actually report it or just throw it on their blog? (that no one really cares about)

I seriously doubt that either the movie itself or this piece of news will have much of an effect on people's opinions on Global Warming...

I mean really... I bet most of the people who went to see this were just unsure about their opinions and wanted them reinforced by somebody 'official'.

If you actually look at the clip they state that the computer generated shot (one faked helicopter shot) is used. "To point out the fact that the ice shelf is disappearing"

He's hardly "busted"

It seems like the copied footage was just for "fluff" (I didn't listen to the audio) anyway.

I did see the film and to tell you the truth, it isn't that bad. Sure he makes some leaps of faith, and some gross generalizations but if you watch it with an open mind you may actually enjoy it.

Take it for what it is: sci-fi/comedy

Don't expect much objectivity in network news either.

The movie was a presentation created in Keynote on an apple laptop in his spare time......the whole thing is an illustration. This isn't news.

I am an environmentalist and I found the movie boring. It didn't tell me anything I didn't already know and I didn't think it would be that shocking to the general public either.

Global warming is three things:

- propaganda, spun to the agenda of many a hypocrite

- mass hysteria turned into a money making venture

- and LASTLY a simplified, skewed perspective of a half truth
