May 2, 200817 yr I see him getting lambasted for this article. Near-dead?!?! WTF?!?! Does he smoke crack in his spare time or what?
May 2, 200817 yr GM a "near-dead" company. I see a mention of something costing $979, which I assume is the penalty cost attached to each model that does not adhere to the new CAFE regulations. Let me say that it is a small cost when you add it onto a car, and a price I would not mind paying one bit, if it means I can get to buy what I really want.
May 2, 200817 yr GM intends to beat Toyota at its own game of selling bogus green symbolism to Washington and Hollywood. Lol. He speaks the truth!
May 2, 200817 yr Interesting. I can't decide which side of the fence he is on. At first, I thought he was merely slamming General Motors, but then he allows a full frontal slam against Toyota to go unchallenged. Sounds to me like the author himself isn't convinced about all the hype around CAFE and hybrids.
May 5, 200817 yr Lol. He speaks the truth! True that As far as the WSJ... They've been avid Detroit haters for years, what makes any of you think they intend to stop? Detroit has made competitive, and dare I say, excellent (in some segments) vehicles for years. Yet the media continues it's tirade. And it will until there is no Detroit to profit from.
