Chrysler enters "Vanishing Point" Challenger in One Lap

Featured Replies

Sad irony...the story was posted on autoblog like yesterday and now today it's back..in pieces. I hope they fix it.

It looks good in white.

The car domain article did show it running under its own power after the accident, so hopefully they can patch it up and keep going.

As an FYI, there are 3 HHR SS's entered in One Lap this year. Pontiac should have entered a team with a G8 for the publicity alone.

If you can drive it you can fix it.

It looks minor..nothing that a little duct tape can't fix... :)

Yeah, I was digging on the Vanishing Point livery, Stone White with those retro rims... then I saw it on the rollback, blah... hopefully it doesn't have too much damage, like a kinked frame rail.

UPDATE

Appears they've retired the White Challenger and will be using another replacement Challenger to complete the race.

They are making repairs to the white one and it should be able to reenter it.
