May 9, 200817 yr Allante =P Eh, that's not really the same. That is basically like the old "Body by Fisher" on all GM cars of the past.
May 10, 200817 yr This one's not GM but one that is close to my heart: (the only FoMoCo product I ever owned for purposes other than a demolition derby) ----- Other day at the junkyard I saw a '92-ish Caprice with a Monte Carlo (crest & knight) emblem glued on the C-pillar over a cheesy canvas top & there was also a few other of these "Monte-Carlprices" around back in the day... musta been some local dealership that came up with this convoluted idea.
May 10, 200817 yr Think wheel centers, steering wheel centers, and the Laguna S-3 emblem. When I'm less tired (and a bit more caught up on my forums), I'm going to have to do some searching for this because the only thing I can think of right now is the dang Chevy bowtie...sorry . Yikes....I'm not sure why a dealership would come up with that sorta idea. Why wouldn't they put the Caprice Classic emblem on there? *pauses* Course ... a friend of mine is sorta like that. She had had an '86 MC LS for her daily driver, but found some problems a bit more than she could afford ... and ended up buying a Caprice Classic wagon as her new daily driver. A friend of ours put these on for her: http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort/200711/RT1...Cfront_jpg.html http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort/200711/RT1...wMCcap_jpg.html Cort:34swm."Mr Monte Carlo.Mr Road Trip".pig valve&pacemaker WRMNshowcase.legos.HO.models.MCs.RTs.CHD = http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort "A concrete fascination scraping the edge of nothing" ...
