I know an officer with the Windsor police and he told me something amusing.

The Windsor lockup where they take the people they arrest is downhill from the parking lot, so they have to go down a big set of concrete stairs to get to the door of the building. Any real slime (rapists, murderers...) get a hardy shove towards the top of the stairs. They're already cuffed so they have a rather rough ride down, sometimes they even land right on their faces.
