May 16, 200817 yr Apologies for the cheezy Windows Vista Reference. Well... Here are the Pics of my new G5 as Promised: Edited May 17, 200817 yr by vonVeezelsnider
May 16, 200817 yr Nice Cobalt j/k..but seriously, can you look behind the twin-port grille and see if there's a Chevy crossbar there? I've always been curious but never daring enough to walk onto a Pontiac lot and do the same thing myself. I had a Cobalt sedan rental for two days this week - a base car that was beat to snot and badly needed tires. Despite all that, it still felt every bit as fun as mine. Enjoy your G5 and I hope you have many happy, trouble-free miles with it

I've always been curious but never daring enough to walk onto a Pontiac lot and do the same thing myself. Nope, I checked that last week :AH-HA_wink:- no Chevy Crossbar. Different Front Bumper altogether.
May 17, 200817 yr Did anyone read/notice the words embossed on the front license plate bracket? :AH-HA_wink: Seriously, though, nice car Veezel. And a good buy, as well. I wish you many happy miles. Edited May 17, 200817 yr by YellowJacket894
May 17, 200817 yr Nice Cobalt! Besides the tacky hub caps and even more tacky grill, looks great! Many Happy Miles. Also I thought you were ripping off Chrysler's new slogan.
May 17, 200817 yr Very Nice... After taking a good look at it, I think you can leave the wheel covers for now..they are not as bad as my Cobalt. I gotta say, I really like the front end of the G5....
May 17, 200817 yr I like the front way better than the 'Balt... And uh great car welcome to the kidney club, you are one of the special few. Get some nice GM Acc. Wheels for it now, the tacky hubs do have to go.
May 17, 200817 yr Author Get some nice GM Acc. Wheels for it now, the tacky hubs do have to go. Nothing that it wouldn't have rolled out of the factory with, please :AH-HA_wink: ... I may track down some 4-Lug 16s for it when I need new tires, but in the meantime my focus is getting the GM iPod Interface ordered, and getting some floormats (the car was supposed to have them, but the Dealer lost them when the did the PDI, and promised me a discount on new ones). Meantime they gave me those cheapy synthetic fiber, thinner than Honda Civic sheet metal ones.
May 17, 200817 yr I tend to prefer the Sunfi- I mean Pursu- I mean G5 over the Cobalt, but Jee-zus, they are still using those hub-caps?! Nice buy, especially for the price.
May 17, 200817 yr Gotta get past those orange lights at night, though I wish GM would differentiate the G5 and Cobalt a lot more. They are such obvious badge jobs. Not quite as bad as the Aries/Reliant, but almost!
May 23, 200817 yr I wish you many happy miles in your new Pontiac, vonVee. Dodgefan, jealousy is not pretty, son.
