May 16, 200817 yr Look at what the head of the UAW Local 602 Bargaining Chairman Steve Bramos had to say , HE STILL THINK GM IS A MONEY TREE.What a dumass. Edited May 17, 200817 yr by Toyota.vs.GM
May 17, 200817 yr The UAW is on it's last legs like the URW [united Rubber Workers] were right before they had to combine with the Steel workers due to lost members. These guys are entited to a fair wage and that is it. If they want more they can go back to school and get a new career.
May 17, 200817 yr Do any of the blue-collar employees working at any of GM's assembly plants actually try and make their self aware of the hardships their company faces? Or do they know and just not give a dog's $h! in hell? Edited May 17, 200817 yr by YellowJacket894
May 17, 200817 yr Oh, PUHLEASE! What's 200 million dollars anyway? It's not like US dollars go that far anymore anyway.
May 17, 200817 yr People are not entitled to have some specific job. If they are not willing to accept lower wages for their work, they are perfectly free to leave and try to find other prospects, relocate, retrain, etc.
May 17, 200817 yr GM may not have a lot of money but they certainly want to rape them for every penny. Its time for the UAW to wake up, take what is fairly offered or they may not have a job. Edited May 17, 200817 yr by Cremazie

May 17, 200817 yr Agreed on the thread title change - let's not have any more like that, it detracts from the site.
May 18, 200817 yr Agreed on the thread title change - let's not have any more like that, it detracts from the site. Indeed. The quality of this site is only going to head south that much more if we keep losing maturity around here.
