I will not be doing a major road trip this year, since I'm using that vacation time to attend a few different weekend gatherings/shows/cruises (about which I've posted); I hope to return to a week or 2-week long road trip in 2009.

But ... Saturday, August 9, 2008 ... I'll be in the Pittsburgh/Johnstown/Holsopple PA area for a family reunion on Dad's side of the family. Around that reunion, I will take a "mini road trip" through Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and northern Virginia. I have a TENTATIVE/skeletal itinerary ... let me know if you want to meet up anywhere along the way so that'll help me finalize the itinerary in the next couple months or so....

THURSDAY, AUGUST 7

* Travel late evening from IL to northern IN.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 8

* Travel early morning from IN to Detroit area MI for lunch

* Travel afternoon from MI to NE Ohio for dinner/overnight

SATURDAY, AUGUST 9

* Travel early morning from OH to reunion in PA

* Spend evening in the greater Pittsburgh PA area

SUNDAY, AUGUST 10

* Travel early morning from PA to Neptune NJ area for lunch

* Travel afternoon from NJ to Maryland to Alexandria VA (evening with family on Mom's side)

MONDAY, AUGUST 11

* Travel early morning from VA through Maryland to IN

TUESDAY, AUGUST 12

* Travel early morning from IN to home
