May 20, 200817 yr if the Banana sells.... http://nh.craigslist.org/car/685391826.html http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/car/684167946.html http://nh.craigslist.org/car/658798259.html http://nh.craigslist.org/car/688276968.html http://nh.craigslist.org/car/636808487.html http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/car/679642540.html http://nh.craigslist.org/car/635025129.html http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/car/683698629.html http://nh.craigslist.org/car/675394603.html http://nh.craigslist.org/car/684764397.html http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/car/685807006.html Holy cow there's some good deals out there! Looks like I'll need to lower the price of the Banana...?
May 20, 200817 yr This is the one I would go with. Of course, it needs quite a bit of work. http://nh.craigslist.org/car/688276968.html These two would be a lot of fun, especially for the money. http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/car/679642540.html http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/car/685807006.html That's the great thing about high fuel prices, it's making collector cars cheaper and more plentiful.
May 21, 200817 yr Author I love the patina on that red trans am!!!! Just the other day i was saying how I'd love to have my '62 Buick Special back... it got 15mpg delivering Chinese food in the winter, 90% city... Well lookee here: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/car/681759360.html Now THAT is tempting!!!!
May 24, 200817 yr Well the '70 Sedan DeVille is out because I just bought it this morning for $600! I knew you couldn't stop buying cars!
May 24, 200817 yr Last week, in passing, the girl mentioned how nice it would be to have a backup car since her car needs a little work. Well, she didn't have to tell me twice! She likes the big blue Caddy and looks forward to it being spiffed up a little bit as much as I do! So you can blame her (sort of) on this one

On some collector cars, yes...but I was at a Car show this AM and a woman there turned down 90K for a 67 Camaro SS-350 ragtop... Some of the less desireables are going down, but the primo p-ieces are still bringing big bucks... Chris
May 24, 200817 yr I'll add a couple more to the list http://nh.craigslist.org/car/680380067.html http://nh.craigslist.org/car/662178389.html http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/car/690279166.html
May 25, 200817 yr I'd go with the '88 Caddy, Trans Am or the sweet and very rare 76 LeMans 400ci/Turbo 400 Combo that is a slick car.
May 27, 200817 yr Author '40 Pontiac is gone, but that '79 T/A is still around... love the patina on that screaming chicken.

July 28, 200817 yr Author Hell Yeah... the front overhang on that Oshkosh is longer than a yaris's wheelbase!
July 29, 200817 yr You all trust Craiglist? After the stories I hear about stolen property being sold there? No way.
July 29, 200817 yr What's wrong with craigslist if you use a little common sense? If you want to buy a car, make sure you see a title. As long as you're not helping any Nigerian princes to get their inheritance into this country, you should be fine. Now..... here's a Ford I would be proud to own: http://nh.craigslist.org/car/769904432.html How cool would it be to blast through the woods in this thing?!
July 29, 200817 yr Author No craigslist? Ohh.... I see, you'd rather buy a car on eBay only to show up with a car trailer and *surprise* that ONE 1/4 panel that was not in the photos has a dent the size & shape of a fire hydrant in it, or *runs & drives* means "it ran & drove fine before I parked it under that Oak tree in 1993" Or... you can always go to a dealership and get robbed blind by some shmuck with a auction license, cause that cardboard business permit on his wall hanging next to a pinup calendar from 1988 means he would NEVER screw you.... right? Craigslist is where it's AT! (and locally the WantAd magazine) Sure you'll have to invest some time and might get a few wackos but nothing in life is easy. There's a local used car dealership selling an exact clone of Julie's 500SEC, similar milage (ugly colors though) and it's not the cooler Gray-import... guy wants FOUR times what we paid. ---- PS that 1943 APC is sick! I'd love to have that even if I never got it running. Edited July 29, 200817 yr by Sixty8panther
July 29, 200817 yr Craigslist is great. That's where we got our Mercury from. What Mercury? Didn't know you guys had a Mercury... Chris
July 29, 200817 yr Author The shocking part.... it's RWD, BOF and V8 powered! DF's mom bought a mid 1990 Grand Marquis in tan with a padded cholocate roof after her minivan was totalled. I got a ride in it the other day, I guess it's been a good purchase so far, only major flaaw is the power windows all have something wrong with them, one has a broken regulator, the other one has a fried motor, etc.... ahould not be too hard of a fix.
