May 23, 200817 yr REVEALED: 2009 Ferrari CaliforniaA new Ferrari model that basically came from nowhere.Link to original Article @ Global Motors Finally we have official pictures and information on the new Ferrari called California! The Ferrari California joins the Prancing Horse’s 8-cylinder family which has always been defined by power and performance. It also flanks the flagship 612 Scaglietti in the prestige sporty Grand Tourer segment. The new model will be available exclusively as a convertible with a folding hard top. Both chassis and bodywork are aluminium, in line with the rest of the current range. California’s 4300 cc V8 engine is mounted in the mid-front position. It generates 460 hp at 7500 rpm. That engine allows Ferrari California to sprint form 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.
May 23, 200817 yr sexy. (pic on here) closer look, the rear "grill"....wtf?! looks very weird to me. the lights make it look crosseyed. but.... i think i'd drool over it.
May 23, 200817 yr Very nice design...I haven't liked a whole lot of the Ferrari designs over the last few years, but this looks nice. Perfect for a Ferris Bueller remake, no? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MxPoxxt7n0 :AH-HA_wink:
May 23, 200817 yr Several months ago, I told a friend of mine that the first thing I buy after law school is going to be a BMW M6 in alpine white. Thats no longer true. I want!
May 23, 200817 yr Not bad at all... still overpriced and mechanically unimpressive considering cost but at least Ferrari has nice coachwork again. Pininfarina was starting to lose it there for a while. StillI bet the Hyundai Tiburon will look 90% like this in 2015. Edited May 23, 200817 yr by Sixty8panther
May 23, 200817 yr I have always always always been a rabid fan of the original 250 California Spyder. That said I like this car well enough, it is gorgeous, and it does seem to take quite a bit from the original, but it STILL cannot hold a candle to the 250. ...But then again, I may just have to see real-world pics of it. Ferrari's stock photography always has/always will suck. Edited May 23, 200817 yr by Turbojett
