Yeah, the "this weekend" stuff was a full day, with some prep work done beforehand, with both of us guys working on it. I was going to do it the weekend before, but Tony (the other guy) wanted to install stuff for our Saturn meet, so I held off. The car now handles awesome, despite being on the all-season ziex 512s. Went out in the hills & threw it around, trying to push the limits to know where they now are, and it just held on tight through the corners, essentially no tire slippage, and just a little oversteer. Gonna have to go out again sometime & push it just a little more to see when the tires start to squeek on me. :D

I remember doing that with my Firehawk. I took the same twisty (fun) back road everyday for about a week increasing the speed daily. I finally decided that when I saw the speedometer reaching 75 mph with no loss of grip (25MPH road) that I really needed a track to find those limits. :AH-HA_wink:

I like the wheels. Hey...should I have posted what Idid today in these section of the forum? I forgot we had it!

Yup!

This would be the place.

You can move it if you want Camino.

That's pretty cool there, Perdue. Those little S-series cars are scrappy, fun little vehicles.

Very nice, I've always had a soft spot for S-cars, first manual I ever drove was our '92 SL2. I'd love to have that car back (ok, maybe not, it was that blue-green color that every other Saturn of that vintage had). I wouldn'6t mind having an SC (first gen) as a third car, for quick trips around town that dont require either of our sedans. An SW would also look good in my driveway.
