Took a 160-mile ride this morning out to the western part of the state and saw all sorts of stuff.....

Big-ass Ram Cummins crewcab 4X4 longbed, white, in my driveway. Two guys are installing my new door that got broken out in... NOVEMBER. It's been a long time coming.

In New Haven today I saw a nice red 90's Cutlass Supreme Convert with a black top.

Chevy HHR Panel Van in bright red. Talk about a hot delivery vehicle... I bet we'll see more HHR Panel Vans out in the times ahead.

Got new tires on the 6, and while they were being put on, walked over to the local Bentley/Rolls Royce/Mazerati/Lamborghini dealer and snapped a few crappy cell phone pics. They just happened to have a Veryon sitting outside a service bay:

Saw a ~70's? mercedes diesel van.... kinda looked like the ones you seen tons of people piling on in other countries, but silver and not really that bad of shape. sorry, didn't have my camera.

White 1975 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight coupe

A white Smart at a red light, the driver must have gunned it, cause he blew the doors off the grand Am in the next lane.

Saw a sight today that will be probably more common with the gas prices as they are--- a couple streets over someone has a late model Dodge Ram crew cab 4x4 lifted on monster tires w/ chrome wheels for sale in their driveway marked $21k. It's going to be pretty hard to sell a POS like that these days.

A 1919 Stanley Steamer, this is the 2nd time in a year I saw this car, someone must own it near where I live, well at least it doesn't need gasoline. Sorry for the poor pic quality, blame my cellphone.

I went to dinner on Friday night in the Hamptons and saw a few Rolls and Maseratis.

I didn't see any of the cars, but I did drive by the GM Doraville assembly plant!

New SL... which isn't as ugly as I thought it'd be.

Me too, right by home yesterday. But I really liked it, more so than the older look actually...comes off crisper and more modern. For a driver, which I think this one clearly was, makes me jealous....well, of everything but the gas bill :AH-HA_wink:

Saw a new SL also the other day, dark gray...looked great. Saw a gray Maserati GranTurismo today..beautiful car. Saw a blue Smart FourTwo also.

Saw my first Smart in red/silver with 50 mpg writen on the window huge. With a window sticker... Also saw a 2008 Sierra SLT Crew Cab Z71 Black on Black at a construction site mud'n it was pretty sweet.

Yes, in 1980, IIRC as the Rover 3500...had four round headlights for the NA market. I haven't seen one since about 1981.

Mazdaspeed6 driven by some cute blonde, she was pretty speedy and good at driving stick actually.

I happened to look up and watch the traffic out my office window just as a sharp white '75/76 Coupe de Ville breezed by on the 101, between a Prius and a 2nd gen Scion XB...

2 Porche 911 turbo, and a Cayman S driving together on the freeway. An Auston Martin vintage, a Vette Z06, and a Ferrari F430 driving around town.

Saw an exceptionally clean and shiny silver blue '82 LeSabre 4dr tonight..haven't seen one like that in ages.

Maybach, all black. First one I'd seen anywhere near Baltimore. I didn't catch if it was the 57 or 62.

Also had to look close to make sure it wasn't an S-Class...

I saw a purple Grand Prix GXP in lower Sussex County, DE. On vacation, PCS?

Fittingly, near that GXP was a black G8 GT. And not too much further down Coastal Highway was a red V6, both retail models. Such fantastic-looking sedans.

Also, there was what looked like someone took a '64 Ford Galaxie sedan and turned it into a convertable by the Mobil on 85th Street in Ocean City. It wasn't in the best of shape.

To round everything out, there was a red-over-white 1959 Ford Country Squire for sale in Dagsboro, DE. A silvery Quattroporte was sighted not too much later.

Hey Nut, speaking of the Galaxie, I saw a '73 Cutlass four door with the roof chopped off parked next to a gas station in Ocean City (I think it was at the Wine Rack/Exxon station) when I was down there. Poor thing sat out overnight in a thunderstorm. It had a "For Sale" sign on it.
