June 5, 200817 yr Sweet! Wings won the cup! Wow, what a series...The Pens played well, right to the end. Go Red wings!
June 5, 200817 yr Seems like an eternity since the Flames were knocked out first round ()... Be nice to the cup, it is a Canadian trophy after all.

June 5, 200817 yr Yeah!! I think the Pens will when next year the wings are looking a little old and tired out there. But a great series i really didnt care who won i love a good match.
June 5, 200817 yr Yeahhhh boy! Next year I'm looking forward to having Osgood backed up by Jimmy Howard, Helm on one of the top 3 lines, Abdelkader, and our new pick-up (Swedish is he?). Can't wait already! I'm going to the parade tomorrow. I'll be sure to take pics!

I wouldn't be surprised to see these same teams back next year.... The youngs guys are doing well, and I think we already have replacements for Drake, Hasek, and Cheli.... So things look good.
June 5, 200817 yr Seems as if the Columbus Blue Jackets actually beat the wings earlier in the year. Would be nice someday if we won the cup... But better Americans than Canadians winning it (with my apologies to VonVeezilsnider and Carbiz.) Chris
June 5, 200817 yr Screw you and your ability to tie up traffic in my town by depressing all the Pens fans! :AH-HA_wink:

June 5, 200817 yr Author Seriously! I rarely drive into work but today it was just a mess! You should have seen all the crazy, honking people around here last night...and today..... :AH-HA_wink:
June 6, 200817 yr It was a really great series, although I must say I was hoping for a Pens victory...Now I just gotta wait til next year and hope the Aves make it farther!

June 6, 200817 yr I was not yet alive (saddly) in the early 1970s, so I did not see Bobby Orr sail through the air like a hockey stick tottin' B17. I've never been into any sport much other than HOCKEY. It's the coolest sport in the world and I will fist fight you about that if you eve try to f**kin argue. :AH-HA_wink: Fastest paced, best developed, most intense, non-stop, STFU & stop your baby-crying its just a broken wrist you've got a spare game on the planet. I've been a Bruins fan since we came to the USA in 1987 & I'd just love to see Boston take home the cup someday in my lifetime! As much as I like to watch prof. Hockey, playing it is WAY more fun. 99% of my injuries, premature arthritis-like symptoms, chipped/bruised bones and blatant scars are from playing roller-hockey back in high school. Man if I had spent just 20% of the time I spent in the '90s playing hockey on my nasty-sick custom roller blades restoring a '69 Camaro instead I'd have a ZL1 clone right now!

June 6, 200817 yr Author I've been in the net before, one time without a cup. That ended in disaster. I always wear a cup...good thing too... Took a slap shot to the cup...that hurt....
