This is a simple to understand explanation (with additional material at the end of the story) of Solar Thermal Energy.

Would be interesting to learn kw/h costs from some of these more advanced setups, as well as environmental impact studies. Could be a good technology to include in a diverse future infrastructure.

I read where this guy said that with the Billions of dollars going into this that coupled with Nano-technlogy within five years it would be same price of oil/gas then went onto say withingn 20 years he pedicted we would be getting most of our energy from Solar.
