I know rare Firehawks are your Holy Grail Camino

but I'd rather have a '73 Trans Am 455SD for this

kind of money.

Also:

That seller is a bit full of himself, this Hawk may be

faster & quicker than a stock GNX but IMHO will

never be worth more money lbs. per lbs.

(or as he says more desirable)

Saw it yesturday downloaded all the photos. Still would rather a have T/A Turbo or T/A GTA from the same generation. Or a GNX, 72 GTO 455 HO in Lucerne blue with honey combs, 72 Grand Prix Hurst SSJ or 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special, or 1993 Cadillac Sixty Special, 1993 Cadillac Deville Touring Sedan, or last but not least a 1991 Bonneville SSE. After all those cars are over 15 years old so I can call them "classic". But what can I say I have odd taste... Not to forget a 79-80 Trans Am 6.6L T/A with WS6 and the new snow flake wheels from the SLP Bandit cars, or a 1981 Bonneville Sport Coupe, and a 1986 Grand Prix Aero Coupe. How could I forget all those GM beatuies.

I, was with you there for a while, I can understand a few

of those... but the 1991 Pontiac Bonnneville SSE?

I'd crush three dozen of those to save one '91 Pontiac

Firebird 2.8 liter V6. :P

Don't forget guys, only 25 of these ever existed.

It really is a Holy Grail as far as Firebirds go.

my only complaint... the asymetrical hood... i cant get past the bulge on one side... sigh... still a sweet ride though.

That was standard Formula fare back then - used to annoy me too.

But, on these cars, it was made of aluminum!

These cars were truly hand-built.

compared to the 91 camaro rs, that interior is ....basic.

That's is a f@#king lovely car, lust doesn't even begin 2 descibe what I feel for this car. I wiah I could fine those wwheels for my 91 Formula.

Camino:

I know, it truly is a legendary ride but I'd much rather have

a daily driver (donlt have to keep it shrink wrapped) 1968

Firebird hardtop with a twin-turbo, FI 400 & 6-speed manual.

Navy blue with a sky blue/silver Phoenix on the hood an all

white leather interior.... perhaps a custom IRS & hidden roll

cage that would NOT involve a B-pillar section.

See, this '91 FH is awesome but it's so damn cool and rare

that you'd be an a$$hole to race, or even drive it hard, which

is the WHOLE point of spending too much $ on a muscle car.

wonder how hard it would be to clone? then you wouldnt feel so bad for riding it hard and putting it up wet.

Well jee, I have the Bonneville just not the sport coupe. Though the 1979-80 Trans Am 6.6 sounds good. Though didnt they discontinue the 6.6 after 1979?

creature comforts = excess weight

this things a factory road racer terror.

 Precisely.

Two were actually campaigned in the Firehawk (the tire) road race series - one survives and is in private hands.

Very.

The required parts are exceedingly rare.

Oh, I understand all of that, but given the opportunity to own one I'd happily take it.
