Behold the BELARO

Theres one of those fords in the area when you take a quick glance it looks okay, but as soon as you see a side profile you want to throw up.

Still better than rice.

However for $5000 I can just buy a much more cool REAL '57 Chevy.

I'd love to know where, a cursory glance at eBay reveals '57s to be rather expensive. Incomplete projects, in pieces, are going for $8000.

I kinda like the T-bord. This topic has been posted before, likelast year.

Satty, the rise in $ is why I no longer drive "Classics."

I sold my 55 a few years ago....you can still find decent drivers for about 15-20k for tri-5 chev's.

Yeah, a few months ago, I though it would be cool to get a '55 convertible for a cruiser (this was pre-Prius and subsequent payments) but once I saw the prices they were going for, I let off.

Last car show I attended was won by a really nice 55 red on white 2 door hardtop...guy bought the car for $53,000 and then stripped it down to the frame for a nut and bolt rebuild.

Fabulous car, but the guy has about 130k in it...

Beyond my budget for sure...

Chris

So... "Belaro", is that what it sounds like when you :puke: when seeing this monstrosity?
