Does anyone know why in the HELL you still have to pay $10K extra for leather-wrapped interior and other high-end features in this car?

Every ZR-1 should come fully loaded. Otherwise, what's the point? So you can offer a "price leader?" Gimmee a break.....

And it doesn't matter if some people "would rather not have the leather dash or extra features".......because Chevy will sell each and every ZR-1 they can....easily....regardless of how much it's loaded up or not....

This would be a lottery purchase for me - one of the first things I'd buy in fact.

Because they want to make a statement with the combination of both it's Ferrari-like performance and with how much less it costs. $10K is about 10% of total vehicle cost, so that's substantial. But don't worry, I don't expect they'll sell a lot that don't have leather.

They are very nice up close and in person. Not behind a rope or on a stand. They had 3 of them here yesterday at the GM car show, a yellow one, a blue one, and the cyber grey. Very cool!!

hehe i love the middle schoolers arguing on that site. the viper this the vette that. truth is they raced a viper a Z06 and a ford GT the viper was third in almost everything. it only out accelerated the z06 but i mean hello more engien. the viper was almost 1.5 seconds behind the vette on the road course and a full 2 seconds or more behind the gt. the vette won over all only because of price and daily drivability. now i would really like to see a gtr zr1 gt and a viper square off. that would be interesting. i think the post that takes the cake though would be this guy

Anyway, I would opt for the leather but some peopel want to save wait at any cost...so just check off the damn "leather package" box if you want it so much and be done with it. Some of you act as though it's not available or anything, calm down.

yeah, i had one of those holiday subscriptions that ran out in january so this was towards the end of last year.
