The End is Coming

Featured Replies

I think we are seeing the following in their last gasp for air and on their way out:

Chrysler

Dodge

Hummer

Mercury

Saturn

Only Jeep, I think will survive, will GM buy it, once Hummer is discontinued?

Saturn is the only one that I do not care about... Mercury has been dying

a slow death thanks to Ford going WAY out of their way to screw that

brand up with re badges that are so mediocre they disgust me.

Ford gets an F- for their effort with Mercury/Lincoln.

It will be a sad day when the Chrysler company goes. A long rich history and a part of North American culture.

The rest of them, well, they won't be missed. Mercury died a very long time ago.

^ There is no Mercury in Canada anyhow.

I will miss Chrysler but I don't even care if Hummer and Saturn die a quick death.

I can only hope Chrysler can pull it together. Maybe Project D will be the next k-car...but you know, better.

What amazes me is that these companies are run by highly educated MBA types and yet some of the members here could make better decisions than they have on how to successfuly create and market a car or truck.

Are vehicles just products like toothpaste?....maybe I've been wrong all along....I'm too emotional about cars. I need help.

That's because most of us aren't corrupted by money/power/politics.

I wouldn't miss HUMMER, and I'm sure many others wouldn't either. Wannabe Snoop Dogg's might be upset, but they'll still have the Escalade.
