June 23, 200817 yr This is from a G8 board, if you scroll down they compare Steath Blue to Stryker blue. link
June 24, 200817 yr Looks nice, thanks for posting. I'm going to show it to my dad since he's interested in a G8.
July 9, 200817 yr I dropped my 93 TA off at the dealership yesterday for a possible blown head gasket, and while I was there I checked out the 2009 Stryker Blue they had in the show room. I was disappointed in the blue. If I get a G8, it will be a Liquid Red or a left over 2008 Ignition Orange what ever the name is. Now I have to convince the wife. By the way, this particular 2009 still has the "Atari" guages. So when will we get the three pod gauges as shown in the Motor Trend article? edited for readability Edited July 9, 200817 yr by prinzSD
July 15, 200817 yr Wow! I have been to Holden's website as well, and I have to say... I Love Holden's Toxic Dump Colours!
August 11, 200817 yr Yesterday while attending a BPG dealership's annual car show I spotted numerous G8s on the lot, mostly in black and white, but there was one Stryker Blue, one Sport Red, and several Pacific Slate Blue G8s there too. I used to want mine in White, but I think if I go with the G8 next summer or fall, Pacific Slate Blue is my new color choice. Once I get my camera downloaded, I'll post the colors here.
August 11, 200817 yr I love black, but the orange looks good on it too, plus I like the names of the paints the give the G8...it's not boring. Ignition Orange as I recall...sweet name...better than say "bright orange" or something boring like that.
August 12, 200817 yr Curious names for the colors...'Stryker' makes me think of a Stryker saw (head saw).
August 12, 200817 yr I love the Pacific Slate color (Karma in Holdenspeak), it is the leading choice for my ST right now.
August 12, 200817 yr Reminds me of that early-90s blue GM used on a few cars... (think TED!!!'s Achieva)
August 12, 200817 yr I like that Pacific Slate blue...nice and subtle. The Camaro would good in that color, IMHO.
August 12, 200817 yr The more I look at the G8 the more I want one. This is a very starnge feeling. A modern GM sedan that does not suck.,...at all!?
August 12, 200817 yr The more I look at the G8 the more I want one. This is a very starnge feeling. A modern GM sedan that does not suck.,...at all!? Well, they got the right ingredients..RWD, V8, IRS, manual transmission coming...what's not to love?
August 13, 200817 yr Yes indeed Moltar, and those night-time interior shots are exemplary. The azure-blue & warm orange/reds work very well indeed. Oh crap, I'm starting to sound like YOU guys... I think there's a small hole in the back of my neck.
August 31, 200817 yr Here's several more pictures of a 2009 Stryker Blue G8 GT: And after seeing the car above in the sunlight, I agree with sixty8 that it is very reminiscent of the '90s bright electric blue color. I recall drooling over my Pontiac dealership's '98 Grand Prix Daytona Pace Car replica in a shade of blue similar to the Stryker Blue:
