July 2, 200817 yr interesting.. why doesn't ford bring these cars over here?! Politics, not being LHD, not enough build capacity in Aus... Lots of reasons.

Ford has also decided that their wonderful Australia only 4 litre DOHC inline 6 will be abandoned in favour of a global Ford V6 engine.

Well since it has worse NVH (on the turbo model) and won't meet the upcoming tighter emissions I would say there is a reason it is going away. Edited July 2, 200817 yr by 91z4me
