July 3, 200817 yr Wow, thats special. At first I figured it was an Estate that someone took a hacksaw to, but on second look, it appears too short for that. Edit: Just checked the CarFax, its an Estate. Just look short to me. Edited July 3, 200817 yr by Satty
July 4, 200817 yr That's cool...looks pretty well done. I'm sure someone has done a Chevy El Camino from a Caprice wagon of that generation.
July 4, 200817 yr Perfect for Camino when he gets old and decrepit. :AH-HA_wink: what do you mean "when."?
July 5, 200817 yr apparently it was the inspiration for those holden utes lol love it tho!!!!!! Edited July 5, 200817 yr by regfootball
July 5, 200817 yr I'd be tempted to peel the wood off, paint it Saturn Yellow with a black stripe down the side, slap some Buick rally wheels on and some fat RWL tires, punch out the motor, and make a Buick GSXpress out of it. ........ are you taking notes, Camino?

July 5, 200817 yr Man, if there was really a Buick or Oldsmobile version of the El Camino in 1970, I'd have to seriously consider buying one at some point in my life. Not that I don't like the look of the '70 Chevelle, but I've always preferred the other divisions a little more than Chevy.
