July 18, 200817 yr Not sure if this one has been posted to go with all the other "leaked" GM new cars and CUV's
July 18, 200817 yr Looks a whole lot like the pictures that surfaced on Jalopnik covered in this C&G thread
July 18, 200817 yr This actually manages to surpass the magum and the Sportwagon as the coolest looking wagon ever.
July 18, 200817 yr is this a good looking wagon? well, yeah, sorta. is it in keeping with what Cadillac's theme should be. NO! the surfacing is last gen BMW, look at the doors closely and around the wheelwells and ask yourself what that reminds you of....BMW 3-series, last gen. the bubbled rear hatch is kind of edgy and risky.....but all of the parts don't tie in together. this could have been much more dramatic, edgier, more current. less fatty big daddy Caddy
July 18, 200817 yr I enjoyed the blockier appearance [rear end], more upright less plump surfacing, and overall diminished length of this look better. those details add up to a much sportier look, where Caddy should be. even if the surfacing is still very reminiscnet of a last gen BMW. EDIT: the more i look at that rear overhang in the real shot, the more i wanna barf, the more convinced I am it doens't have a shot in hell in Europe. CTS wagon EDIT: I screwed up with the illustraition, please go here and then scroll down to where it says April 11 Illustration Edited July 18, 200817 yr by turbo200

I also think you should wait for better pictures before barfing. This is what, the 2nd or 3rd time you've barfed in a post today? Any more of that and I'm sending you to the hospital for bulimia.
July 18, 200817 yr From this shot, I think the rear is too Saab-ish and rounded, but I'll wait for good pics to decide.b

Any more of that and I'm sending you to the hospital for bulimia. anytime a nurse is involved, i'm there! doesn't the rear overhang also make you want to barf? I'm seeing 3-series in the surfacing, check the doors and front fenders. i'm talking pre-Bangle BMW 3 and 5, so look at the last gen BMW surfacing, and you'll get a feel for what I'm saying. July 18, 200817 yr Go back and look at an '04 CTS. It's just a softening of that. If you're talking about the flat surface just around the wheel wells, BMW cribbed that from the '66 Toronado
July 18, 200817 yr This actually manages to surpass the magum and the Sportwagon as the coolest looking wagon ever. I would not go that far, but post 1972 I will agree!
July 18, 200817 yr If there's any BMW in that design it's there in the same sense that a 2009 mustang has some '63 Galaxie in it.
July 18, 200817 yr I know it's more for crash ratings, i'm not a fan of these higher and higher belt lines. otherwise, looks great!
July 18, 200817 yr I don't like wagons and I really don't like this one. The D pillar is at least a foot thick, what is up with that? It looks 9-3 sport combi like from the back and tail lamps that go bumper to roof didn't look good on early 2000s Volvo wagons, didn't look good on mid 2000s Saab wagons and they don't look good on late 2000s Cadillac wagons. I wonder what this thing will weigh? 4250 pounds?

I wonder what this thing will weigh? 4250 pounds? ZOMG!!! NO complaints about not having 33.7 surround sound?! No complaints about how it won't out handle the M5 wagon? <because we both know that all wagon drivers commute on the Nurgbergring> Not a peep about the lack of 75 way power seats with power reach around?! As for the D-pillar, they really just took the C-pillar and shoved it back.

As for the D-pillar, they really just took the C-pillar and shoved it back. I wouldn't buy a wagon so I guess I care less about what is in it. I would be interested in a Cadillac sedan without a plastic grille, 7.1 surround, 20 way seats, 0-60 in 5.2 seconds, and over 20 mpg that can out handle the M5 wagon though. Rechargeable flashlight in glove box would be nice too. I love BMW handling, but I don't like their styling or iDrive, although they have a new iDrive for 09 that is supposed to be better. July 19, 200817 yr This is the coolest wagon I've seen. Like ever. Even with its iffy practicality, I'd choose it over the sedan based on looks alone.
