With GM's very acute attention to design and detail in our newest models both on the inside and outside (Camaro in particular, Equinox, Malibu, Invicta, etc.), it only makes me anticipate a new generation of Corvette even more, especially with the CAFE hype hitting and saying the Corvette might be smaller, lighter, and on Alpha.

However, my biggest focus is on interior/exterior design. What are you guys expecting?

A steering wheel, a couple seats, 2 or 3 pedals, and some sort of shifter. :)

And a 4 wheels

I expect gen V engine in it. Maybe turbocharged v6 in some base version of it.

The shiny silver thing in Transformers 2. :AH-HA_wink:

i doubt the gas crissis will affect the corvette

they already get better fuel ecconomy almost all sports cars...

Four cylinder & six cylinder turbos in lower end Camaro models? sure.

NO!

So long as internal combustion is alive the Corvette should be a V8 ONLY car. It's the freekin halo car for GM... V6 power? pleeeeezz!

If anything it's time for the Vetter to step up to 12 or 16 cylinders.

I'm dead serious too... if 6.2 liter V8 = 30mpg highway

than why not have a 20mpg car ABOVE the ZR-1 that

has sixteen cylinders displacing... oh, 7 or 8 liters!?

Its going to shrink and become lighter, much lighter. Keeps the V8, it already gets 25-30 mpg in a 3200 lb car.

Though, in complete honesty, I expect the C7 to get pushed back a few years in development whilst they work on more important things.
