July 30, 200817 yr I wish I was one of them... I really can't wait 'till they hit showrooms! In regards to the video clips with the 6 cyl... they all say it sounds great, but, at least in the clips, the exhaust note sounds funny.

July 31, 200817 yr Yeah, but you really cannot trust the audio on these clips. In the one with Mr. Clean, it sounded good going up through the gears. So much emotion in these clips... WOW... thank you GM for having a heart, and remembering what it means to build a car that can so readily connect with a customer's soul. I still want to see an Aqua Blue RS/V6 car!

Seriously, I stand corrected I just might buy a new Chevrolet in the next few years! God damn that car gets a solid A-, but if it was only a freekin hardtop it would be like an A+++++++++!

August 1, 200817 yr The only question is if I want a true manual or 6-peed auto with paddle shifters. I guess it depends how good the manual mode is. I know my Hemi Orange or black Challenger R/T will have the Track Pak, so it's a question of if I want 2 manuals or 1 manual, one automatic. Then again that's what the Intrepid/Prizm are for. So maybe manual all the way.
August 1, 200817 yr Well if you watch the vids, some of them say they couldn't feel the auto shift in the SS because the transmission was just that quick. Very impressive, but I need to push my way through gears.. and I appreciate the extra 22 HP
