October 28, 200520 yr Honda's Profit Margin May Fall in the Second-Half URL: http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=100...zRWI&refer=asia Honda is cutting production of its new Ridgeline pickup truck next quarter by 3,000 units in Canada as inventory has risen to more than 100 days
October 31, 200520 yr I like the look of the Ridgeline, as long as it has the Hood Rack, Running Boards, and extra front grille lower guard thing =) It is a great utility truck. It handles great too, much better than any truck on the road today. It's just too bad not enough people are willing to give it a chance.
October 31, 200520 yr    Bu...bu...but it has a trunk in the bed...IN THE BED, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! [post="35802"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] that alone means it should pull a 20,000 pound trailer with no frame damage and also it will get 20 mpg doing it!

That thing would be good for at least 40,000lbs (and get 40mpg).
November 1, 200520 yr The Ridgeline is simply overpriced for what you get. It starts at around $28K. For that you could get a very well-equipped (if not fully-loaded) Canyon, Frontier, Tacoma, etc. The Ridgeline can reach prices of over $35K at which point you definitely will be able to buy a fully-loaded midsize truck or an equally-equipped fullsize truck (any of which are more capable than the Ridgeline). November 1, 200520 yr hehe... As proof that inventory is piling up, and this thing isn't selling... I have seen the same ridgeline parked on a dealer lot sice mid-August.
November 1, 200520 yr The Element is ugly but sells because it's cheap. Ugly and expensive don't work together. However, the Ridgeline does have a 42-month $299 lease deal now, so it may start to move.
November 1, 200520 yr if the ridgeline is anything like my buddy's new Pilot, you'll be lucky to see 15 mpg on daily driving, without towing or hauling anything besides a wife that won't put out. The wife doesn't, but the truck sure does suck (fuel). Edited November 1, 200520 yr by regfootball
