2008 Pontiac G6 GXP

Featured Replies

Apparently, the spy photos we saw of a G6 with a freshened front end were not of the '09 model... I've seen several '09 G6s on the lots and they look exactly like earlier years.

I don't think the G6s design has worn well. It's proportions always seemed a bit off to me.

It's the darling of the rental companies here.

As with the Impala, woodgrain or metallic-look trim is the owner's choice when ordering. I see nothing wrong with woodgrain trim in a Pontiac. I was looking at a very hot '65 Grand Prix on Saturday, with the factory, real wood veneer across the expansive dashboard, and it was spectacular. I look at it this way: metallic-look trim is for people who want a "cool" feeling, while woodgrain is for those who prefer a "warm" interior. To each his own, and I am glad buyers have the choice.

I generally prefer "warm" over "cool" but in a Pontiac the plood looks terribly out of place unless you have the tan interior.

2010...

Lemme Dig up the Uncamo'd Autoblog Article.

The other day I finally saw one in Toronto, except it was a rental with New Jersey plates. What a waste, would've made an excellent parts car for me, I'll take the 3.6L and the 6-speed.

And I guess that means Canadians still have a good taste. :CanadaEmoticon:
